We have team meetings every Mondays to evaluate what we have done for the past week as well as the performances of individuals, each department is lead by a team leader that will evaluate as well as hold talks with his/her members.

We purchase insurance package for our employees as well as provide basic medical benefits. As a small start up company, we may not be able to provide attractive compensation packages that major MNC's or established SME's have in place. But the team leaders in EVVO Media are always around to feedback to our directors if any member of the company requires any assistance be it in a professional or personal capacity.

Please describe your company's internship programme.
We always welcome applicants from all tertiary institutes to apply for internships in EVVO Media, as a start up company, our interns will be able to take a more hands on approach to the projects that EVVO Media is currently undertaking.
The team leaders of the company will supervise the work and development of each intern based on their work attitude as well as quality of work. Our business development managers also closely monitor our interns and give advice on their possible career paths and give valuable feedback with regards to their performances during their internship with the company.
In short, interns at EVVO Media are not here to buy coffee or do mundane work. They are here to learn and achieve personal growth.

Please describe typical career paths for new graduates.
New undergraduates and MBAs are placed under entry level positions in the company at the start of their fledgling careers where they will be closely monitored and supervised by the team leaders of each department.
We are a company that prefers to hire from within, thus new members of the company that shows good attitude towards work and a willingness to excel beyond their job scope will be given opportunities to take up position with more responsibilities in time.
The current team leader for our technology department Shen Yuan was a fresh graduate that worked his way into becoming a valuable member of the company. We value individuals such as him.

We are currently not involved in any public/community service activities but we are open to any good projects that might arise.

1. The atmosphere within the company, the company tries to provide a comfortable environment for our staff to work in.
2. The potential for personal growth. We try our best to ensure that ideas and initiatives provides by our staff are not stifled or put down; we'll rather try to grow on that idea and make it happen.
3. Being in a start up company allows our staff to get a feel of different aspects of the business rather than having a set job scope that can become monotonous with time.

EVVO Media's hiring process is three-folds: the HR and Business Development Managers will first view the candidate's Video Resume and shortlist the ones with the most potential. We will then have a face-to-face interview with the candidates, where we will access their fit into the company's culture. We need strong individuals with dynamic personalities in our line of work.

The company understands that the digital media industry is still at its infancy stage locally, we are open to the hiring of fresh graduates and less experienced individuals. A willingness to learn on the job, constantly innovate and research on new ideas and trends within the industry would be a plus point in our hiring decision. We are always on the lookout for young dynamic candidates to join our team.

What advice will you give someone interviewing at your company?
Read up on what digital media is all about, find out more about what EVVO Media is all about as well as the products and services we have on offer, it will definitely be a bonus if there is at least a baseline knowledge on what we do when you are being interviewed. But with the proliferation of social media and online usage aided by websites such as YouTube and Facebook, most interviewees would already possess some knowledge of what we do.
